After losing offer after offer, my realtor recommended Homeward, having had success with another client. It took a total of 16 offers—3 through Homeward—before I finally got one accepted: 10% over list price with an appraisal gap waiver, narrowly beating out several other buyers.
My interest rate through their lending department was about 0.3% higher than what I could have gotten through my local credit union, but after months of disappointment, it was worth it to finally secure a home. If I hadn’t used them as a lender, I would have had to pay an extra 1.9% of the sale price as a Homeward fee.
After all that, it was totally worth it in my opinion. Homeward helped me finally get a house after a frustrating and competitive market.
